Pathways to Subtle Pain Relief
These days it is commonplace to have aches and pains. Pain is a natural response to over use of our muscles. But what about the pain that does not go away, no matter what you do. Many of us are sufferers of chronic subtle pain, and a great deal of our energy is consumed in trying to block it out.
What causes this low grade pain, and how do we get rid of it? This is a billion dollar question, and believe me we have every player in this game ranging from drug companies, practitioners, and food manufacturers to subtle energy practitioners.
There are many programs available these days for the treatment of chronic pain conditions. Traditional therapies include physical therapy, occupational therapy and medications. Holistic program include acupuncture, yoga, nutritional changes, and breathing exercises.
In a study conducted at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, a team of health care professionals treated chronic low back pain using naturopathic practices. The treatment included deep breathing exercises, acupuncture, and dietary supplementation such as omega 3 fatty acids, calcium, and magnesium.(1)
Half the group was treated with conventional physiotherapy methods and half with naturopathic methods. What they found in this treatment of chronic low back pain is that those treated with naturopathic methods had a greater reduction in pain than those treated by the conventional physical therapy modalities.
When we delve into the nutritional value of minerals such as magnesium, we find that there are over 300 body functions that are dependent on magnesium. Unfortunately half of our population is deficient in magnesium. Low magnesium levels can lead to many health issues, such as muscle cramps and chronic pain. (2)
There is no measure of how long it takes to create a condition such as chronic pain, and likewise there is no magic bullet that will lift us from its clutches. Perhaps if we focus on some of the more basic elements, such as diet and nutrition, we might see progress in our plea for pain release. Magnesium, for example, is easy to introduce into the body through pleasant applications such as magnesium oil or a warm, nutritional magnesium bath.

Is Healthy Living an Attainable Goal?
Most of our western culture diets are loaded with foods that promote imbalance in our bodies. The human body is designed to have a protein breaking acid balance in the stomach, but further on, in the intestinal tract, our body is meant to have an alkaline balance. This balance is important in breaking down and assimilating our foods.
Our PH is important. When we tip the scales to the acidic side we crave more of those foods that created havoc in the first place.
Did you know that the human body is host to an average of two pounds of parasitic bacteria and other host-dependent organisms? Before you cringe, hang on, some of that is the beneficial bacteria in your digestive tract that you rely on to digest your food. Now the flip side: if you eat a typical western diet you likely host some non-beneficial organisms. That can include fungi, yeast in the form of candida, even parasites. We typically acquire those host-reliant free-loaders because of an imbalance or high toxin level in our body.
Candida, a yeast overrun, is actually a knight-in-shining-armor, aiding us in dealing with the excess sugars. But Candida is also self-promoting, and that un-natural yeast overrun is demanding on our nutrients, our oxygen level, and our overall health.
What is the best way to restore the natural PH balance in the body? Eating a healthy diet is important, but we must also release those toxins and parasites as well. A good detoxification program will aid in restoring the healthy neutral PH balance and should effectively decrease those cravings for sugars and simple carbohydrates.
With better nutrition, and that includes ample clean water, the cells will say “ahhhh”, and will release the toxins carried within. Providing adequate water to your system helps flush those toxins away, through the blood and lymphatic system. Exercise such as rebounding aides in the movement and release of those toxins and parasitic matter like bacteria, parasites, and viruses.
Is Your Drinking Water Clean? No It Isn’t.
One of the most important factors in the health of any person is their diet, and diet includes water. Despite the fact that you ought to be drinking clean drinking water the majority of Americans aren’t.
Clean drinking water is essential for good health. Right now you may be reading about the Cholera epidemic in Zimbabwe. Cholera and many other diseases can be spread by contaminated drinking water, and it’s essential that we drink the purest water to protect our health.
There is no cholera in the US, but that doesn’t mean that our drinking water supplies are clean. In fact there are hundreds of different contaminants that can be found in our drinking water, and although they won’t kill us fast like cholera will they are still damaging to our health over time.
Consider this. I’m sure you know how serious it is to get lead into our bodies. None other than the EPA has stated that lead in drinking water is the number one environmental health threat to our childrens health. Low levels of lead can cause serious problems for children including learning difficulties and behavioral problems and more.
Can you believe that something as dangerous as lead is in our water? We’re drinking lead? Aren’t our water supplies meant to be clean?
There is a real problem with lead in our drinking water. How does the lead get into our water? Often right there in our house, because around 98% of household plumbing has lead in it around the joints where there is solder.
The EPA recognises that there is no safe level of lead in our water, that any exposure to lead is dangerous, especially to children.
And lead is just the start. There are hundreds of other contaminants that can be found in our water. We aren’t drinking clean water at all.
So what do you do to make sure that you and your family have clean water to drink? How do you get the purest drinking water possible? Should you buy bottled water, for instance?
And none other than the FDA has said “Companies that market bottled water as being safer than tap water are defrauding the American public.” The reason is that the government doesn’t set any standards for bottled water, so there is no requirement that bottled water be any better than tap water. Some bottled water is tap water put into a bottle, at a staggering price. Bottled water is a con.
And bottled water is an environmental disaster, with countless plastic bottles manufactured to go into landfill.
So if bottled water isn’t the answer to clean drinking water what do you do if the thought of drinking lead and countless other contaminants repulses you? You find a good water filter to use. A water filter is much cheaper and more environmentally friendly than bottled water and produces water to extremely high standards of cleanliness. A high quality water filter will filter the lead out, along with the other contaminants, including chlorine, that you find in your tap water.
How do you know that? Because it’s perfectly possible to test this and independent tests can show the efficacy of different water filters and ensure that if they claim certain results these can actually be achieved. The very best drinking water filters should filter out over 97% or 98% of just about everything nasty, including some contaminants that you’ve probably never even heard of.
Here’s an example. Did you know there was bromochloroacentontrile in your tap water? Never heard of it? What in the world is it? How dangerous is it? It doesn’t matter if you use the best water filter you know that over 97% of it is gone.
So if you didn’t know about the problems with drinking contaminated water you do now. You have a right to drink clean water but you’re currently drinking contaminated water if you drink tap water or bottled water. To make sure that you’re drinking clean water you need to find and use the best water filter that money can buy and remove the contaminants.
And believe it or not, the best drinking water filter isn’t the most expensive water filter. Find out more at my website.
Chronic Disease - Not so easy to Diagnose
You know something is wrong. You are tired far too often, and the pain you feel is constant. Your body temperature is off kilter as well. Is it the result of depression, or is the depression another symptom of some physical problem?
Diagnosing conditions and finding the proper treatment is not always easy. Many ailments have similar symptoms. Tests may show a rise in the body response to an infection, but cannot pinpoint the exact cause.
With all the advances we have made in our medical and research communities it seems that there should be tests and treatments that can help or cure chronic conditions. Is this wishful thinking? Yes, but realistic, too. The fact is that chronic conditions are difficult to trace.
There are many conditions with similar symptoms, and with some of these conditions, such as MS, or multiple sclerosis, the cause is not clear. How can you effectively treat a condition when you cannot identify its cause?
In addition to MS there are other autoimmune conditions or syndromes that share the same tired, aching and depressing symptoms. Each is found through the elimination process, much like MS. Weve heard the names ” fibromyalgia, lupus, chronic fatigue, and even rheumatoid arthritis.
Lyme disease is another of those multi-symptom diseases that shares symptoms with other autoimmune disorders. Lyme is known to be caused by borrelia bacteria, which is commonly transmitted by ticks, and may be more common than we think.
Now we know the challenges that are faced in diagnosing chronic autoimmune disorders. Once the diagnosis is decided the treatment may not be clear. Our traditional treatment using antibiotics has been widely overused, and now we face resistant pathogens.

Gaining muscle mass is the dream of the majority of male. Diet and training programs would become extreme important if you want to achieve this result without using any non-natural supplements and synthetic steroids. To do this, you also need to take your schedule into account and judge how much time you can spend on workout in gym and make necessary changes to your diet. Sodium Intake
Sodium can do a lot of good things to our body cells. It not only increases muscle cell fluid volume but also stimulate our muscle growth. Although it is good for retaining water, that is not what we want to build muscle. It will help you by allowing your body to better store carbohydrates and to better absorb amino acids. Another benefit of increasing your cellular fluid is that it can help gain more muscle strength and advance your joint leverage and prevent injuries of you soft tissues and relax your physical strength in your workout exercises. Having more responsive of muscles to insulin is also a good thing of sodium.
Fish and Other Foods That Contain Omega-3
Fish and foods contain a lot of Omega-3 fatty acids which can help you to gain more muscle mass. Go for fish with tons of omega-3 fatty acids, such as salmon, mackerel, lake trout, sardines, tuna and herring. There are a lot of Omega-3 fatty acids sources, like walnuts, cauliflower, broccoli, oregano, tofu, soybeans, Brussels sprouts, kale, spinach, mustard seeds and flax seeds. To make our muscle more susceptible to insulin, you can eat foods above, which can help you to store more glycogen and grow more muscle mass. Glutamine is important for helping protein metabolism and prevents muscle from weakening. And eat fish that contains Omega-3 fatty acids can help you with that.
Free Weights Training
For gaining more muscle mass, it is not sufficient just eating the right diet. Workout with free weight and dumbbells are important for resistance training. They would work out your ancillary muscles and build compound mass on them. Wide range of working out is a kind of good exercise and dumbbells is good and versatile equipment for you to do this. How Safe is the Food You Eat?
When you buy fresh vegetables and fruits at the grocery store those items look great. We think they are clean and ready to use with just a rinse of water. But with news stories of critical illnesses caused by contaminated foods, how safe are the foods we buy?
Where did this tainted food come from? We cannot blame the foreign growers, not when we hear about recalls of spinach from California. There are a lot of variables in growing fruits and vegetables, and it is not always easy to control the environment.
One study conducted at the University of the Netherlands explored the many phases of the growing and transporting cycle for fresh fruits and vegetables. It was noted that there are many times in this cycle that foods could be contaminated or spoiled.
Pathogens can be found in fruits and vegetables. Microbes can group themselves into tightly knit formations called biofilms that coat fruits and vegetables and protect the bacteria from harm. This kind of bacterial community can harbor multiple versions of infectious, disease-causing bacteria, such as Salmonella and E. coli.
Another possible cause for concern is the residue left on produce by repeated use of pesticides. While those pesticides can increase crop production by reducing pests, the continued intake of even traces of these chemicals can never be considered healthy.
Mycotoxin is a toxin in the fungus family. Due to their microscopically small spores, fungi are found nearly everywhere in small quantities. They feed off organic matter when the conditions are right. In too great a quantity mycotoxin poisoning can take place. This overdose can come through direct consumption or by feeding contaminated feed to livestock.
What can we do to assure that our fresh produce is safe to feed our families? One discovery I have made is miracle mineral solution, or MMS. The cost is low, and one bottle can last for months or even years. MMS is a 28 percent solution of sodium chlorite. When it is mixed with a citric acid, food based, it becomes chlorine dioxide. Did you know that chlorine dioxide has been used for over 70 years for water purification?
You can mix a small quantity of MMS and place it in a sprayer bottle with water. Spray it on your food and it will target the pathogens on your produce. Foods can also be soaked in a solution, adding an additional cleansing to assure that your foods are as clean as possible. When the chlorine dioxide is done it changes to salts and water. Using chlorine dioxide, as a last-step in food prep is simple, safe and effective.
I know that the health and wellness of your family is important to you. Miracle Mineral Solution gives us a choice that can lead to a healthier happier environment.
Study Finds Foods That Contain the Best Sources of Anitoxidants
A recent study done by USDA scientist found that artichokes, beans, and acai berry were among the best foods to find the highest levels of the disease fighting compound known as antioxidants.
The study also confirmed that widely known highly rich antioxidant foods like cranberries and blueberries were good sources–but surprisingly, research also determined that cinnamon, pecans, and even Russet potatoes contained high sources of antioxidants. Antioxidants are important because they are thought to fight cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, and heart disease.
“The bottom line is the same: eat more fruits and veggies,” says Ronald L. Prior, Ph.D., a chemist and nutritionist with the USDA’s Arkansas Children’s Nutrition Center in Little Rock, Ark., and lead author of the study. “This study confirms that those foods are full of benefits, particularly those with higher levels of antioxidants. Nuts and spices are also good sources.”
This is the most comprehensive and complete study ever done on foods with antioxidants as the USDA used high tech equipment and analyzed more foods than in the previous studies. The researchers analyzed over 100 foods like acai berry, fruits, vegetables, spices and nuts.
All foods were measured based off of antioxidant concentration and antioxidant capacity per serving. Russet potatoes, artichokes and beans were the best source of antioxidants in the vegetable category. Acai berries, cranberries, and blueberries were tops for antioxidants in the fruit category–while pecans, walnuts, and hazelnuts were your best source of antioxidants in the nut family.
ground cloves, ground cinnamon, and oregano were found to have high amounts of antioxidants. Spices are usually consumed in small amounts, even though many are high in antioxidants.
A study such as this proves very helpful for those looking to increase their antioxidant intake in their foods. However, caution must still be applied as foods that are high in antioxidants does not equate into health benefits–that process is determined by how the body absorbs and utilizes the antioxidant rich foods.
The government currently has no guidelines for how people should consume antioxidants as part of their daily diet–this is the same dilemma with vitamins and minerals. One big problem is the lack of continuity amongst researchers.
USDA officials consistently to encourage people to eat a variety of fruits like the acai berry and vegetables like potatoes for better health.
Is Vitamin D Deficiency Linked to Hypertension?
I am extremely fortunate in my position to be able to receive direct feedback from my clients. They let me know personally, how my program has helped and ask follow up questions to help ensure they are as healthy as they can possibly be. Sometimes, the same question comes up and its good to be able to address the answer to many.
One question Id like to address is whether or not there is a relation between high blood pressure and Vitamin D deficiency.
Vitamin D is actually several different vitamins ” Vitamin D2 and D3 specifically. Vitamin D3 is produced when a persons skin is exposed to sunlight or ultraviolet light. In fact, sunlight is the easiest way to get the required amount of Vitamin D.
Vitamin D is important because it allows the body to process calcium and phosphorus, providing for strong bones. It is also important in the maintenance of the bodys organs, including the heart.
Studies have shown that a Vitamin D deficiency in conjunction with hypertension makes an individual twice as likely to suffer from a cardiac event (stroke, heart attack, etc.)
Is there a Way to determine if lack of Vitamin D might be my problem?
Since symptoms of Vitamin D are often the same symptoms of other diseases (hypertension, flu-like symptoms, periodontal issues, depression, bone diseases), the best and easiest way to check to see if you are Vitamin D deficient is to have your doctor perform a blood test.
Different groups are more susceptible to Vitamin D deficiencies than others. Older adults cannot synthesize the vitamin as well and therefore, need more Vitamin D to process. They also tend to avoid exposure to sunlight more than younger adults or children.
People who have limited exposure to ultraviolet light also have in increased chance of having the vitamin deficiency. This would include people who live in areas that dont receive as much sunlight, women who cover their skin due to religious reasons or those who are employed in fields where they are constantly indoors and out of the sun.
Darker skin has a great deal of melanin. This reduces the skin’s ability to process Vitamin D from the sunlight more difficult.
Severely overweight people also tend to be at risk for Vitamin D deficiency. The fat cells make the distribution of the vitamin throughout the body difficult.
Of course, the easiest way to avoid Vitamin D deficiency would be at least 10 minutes of direct sunlight exposure each day. You should, however, consult your doctor first to ensure this will not lead to larger health issues.
Many foods contain Vitamin D either naturally or enhanced ” Cod, salmon, mackerel, tuna, milk, eggs, cereal. Consult your doctor to ensure you are eating the required amount to maintain adequate Vitamin D production.
Oral supplements are another option for treating Vitamin D deficiency but should be monitored by your physician since taking too much of this vitamin can adversely affect your health.
I recommend the High Blood Pressure Program regardless of the cause of your high blood pressure due to the outstanding results.
